There are many restaurants in Tenerife that are halal. These restaurants offer a great variety of delicious, flavorful dishes that meet the demands of Muslim diet.
There probably isn't as many as you would find in Madrid, Seville or Barcelona, but there should be enough variety to keep all the family happy.

If you are visiting Santa Cruz de Tenerife and you are looking for halal restaurants, you will find that it is easy to enjoy halal food here. There are many restaurants that feature halal cuisine, and they are located all over the island.
It's best to visit restaurants and cafes that feature both halal and non-halal foods to ensure you have a good meal.
This is due to the growing number of Muslims who are opting for halal food. The popular island is a good location for these types of restaurants, partly due to the large number of tourists from around the world who visit the island.
You'll find a a variety of halal restaurants serving dishes that are traditional and local, the best of which we have highlighted below.
Buddhabar Tenerife
The one thing that stood out to me the most about this beautiful restaurant, was its amazing location. Buddhabar is based just off the beach- only a 30-second walk to the seashore.
The restaurant specialises in all kinds of seafood, from mussels to lobsters, fresh from the market or the ocean. The service is decent and the prices on the menu are average for the quality and quantity of food you receive.
As stated in the name, the restaurant is also a full-time bar, so the atmosphere is very loud and noisy, so I would take that into account whilst traveling with young ones.
100 Pizze Social Club
100 Pizze Social Club has to have some of the best pizza I have tasted in my life, whether it’s the soft, chewy dough or the handmade, sweet tomato sauce.
The portions are huge and very easy to share if you have a smaller appetite than most, with great value for your money too. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, checking up on you every now and again- making sure you are satisfied with your dining experience.
I must say that I have been here multiple times during my stay in Santa Cruz, and they have never failed to impress.
EstaRico Burger
Although a little pricey, EstaRico burgers offer some of the best burgers in Santa Cruz. The menu ranges from burgers of chicken, beef, and fish with all sorts of filling you wouldn’t expect to find in your normal burger.
One thing I must point out is the desserts. EstaRico has a collaboration with a pastry shop in La Laguna who provide the best cream cake in the world (I’m not exaggerating). The restaurant itself is very spacious and clean accompanied by dim lights providing a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
The service is very fast and the workers are very kind and talkative.
Dareshasu
Specialising in sushi and ramen, Dareshasu has some of the most authentic Japanese cuisines you will find in the area. The service is excellent and the workers are very lovely and accommodating.
The food has an immediate taste of freshness when it hits your lips- with the restaurant’s seafood all being taken straight from the nearby ocean. One dish I must recommend is the Seaweed and cucumber salad, as it is something juicy and delicious to cleanse your pallet before and after your meal.
One thing to note is that Dareshasu is pretty much always booked up so it is very important to make a reservation before going.
Argana Nazar
Argana Nazar is the best grill located on the island.
Whether you are feeling peckish for a bit of mixed grill or a hearty meal of doner kebab, this place has it all. The service is incredibly fast and the workers are very smiley and attentive.
The restaurant is an ideal place to go to with children as they offer smaller portions for kids and TVs spotted around for sufficient entertainment.
For those who are not feeling for any meat dishes, Aragna offers a delicious falafel wrap, served with an amazing salad and sauce.
