La Pala d'Oro
Dining in La Pala d’Oro is an experience you will never forget, from its beautiful architecture to its warm and welcoming service. Although a little pricey, the restaurant offers a wide range of authentic Italian food, fresh from the kitchen. The portions are very generous and will fill you up, but you must leave room for dessert, as the restaurant serves some delicious tiramisu! La Pala is also very accommodating to allergies and dietary needs with gluten-free pasta and pizza dishes too.
As well as the exterior architecture, the décor inside is amazing too, with paper cranes above your head and dimmed lighting. Overall, I would absolutely recommend La Pala d’Oro to anyone visiting Malaga.
Ta-Kumi
I cannot describe the amazing experience at Ta-Kumi well enough. The freshness of the sushi and seafood dishes served here is unimaginable along with the friendly and talkative waiting and server staff. The workers all know the food very well, talking you through the menu to fit your needs whether it’s a spice tolerance level or allergy. The food is prepared in front of you by well-skilled chefs as they tell you about the origins of the foods and processes too. Although the menu is expensive, the food and experience are worth it as well as the beautiful plating too.
Ta-Kumi is somewhere you cannot miss during your time in Malaga.
M.Wok Express
This restaurant really brings the word ‘express’ to its name! The restaurant offers pre-cooked food in containers to take out or eat in or offers a menu to order off. This applies to all the foods served here whether it’s rice. curry, sushi, or noodles. The service is unbelievably fast and the workers speak English and Spanish too- handy for those who use the languages.
The quantity is great for the small price it comes at. I would recommend M.Wok to anyone with families going sightseeing and looking for a quick food stop or just anyone who is feeling peckish for this kind of cuisine.
Mosaico
The location of Mosaico is ever so handy as it is only a 3-minute walk from the profound, tourist attraction Malaga Cathedral. So you can take your time looking around before going for a refreshing, Moroccan meal. The prices are reasonable for the portions and quality of food you receive. The service is very friendly and attentive and will sort out any issues whether it’s with your food or as simple as your seating.
The restaurant is also good for light snacks or a relaxing cup of mint tea. I have been to Mosaico many times and they have never failed to impress.
Curry Leaves
This restaurant offers a huge range of food from tacos to tikka masala- great for the whole family! The staff are very kind and talkative always making sure you are at most comfort and your food is at its highest quality. The portions are very large and all for an even better price. The service is very speedy but that does not affect the quality of the food you receive. The atmosphere is very relaxed, adding to the dim ambiance.
The food is very well plated and the lighting is good for pictures…very Instagram-worthy I must say!
